It feels like only yesterday I was a rookie in the dressing room looking up to the vets like Smith and Carson. Man, whatta' great game this is, he joked as his teammates showered him with Champagne.
A native of USA, Keith Tkachuk was originally drafted to the NHL by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 1st round of the 1990 entry draft. He has appeared in 1070 NHL games during his career, notching 508 goals and adding 492 assists along with 2098 penalty minutes. The 36 year old left wing has played 17 games with the New York Rangers this season, totalling 8+10=18 with 10 PIM.
