Sergei Fedorov reaches a milestone !

) scored the 1100th point of his career in tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils on a feed by Rico Fata. I don't know why exactly, but the ice just seems to be more wide open for me this year, were his words after the game.
A native of Russia, Sergei Fedorov was originally drafted to the NHL by the Detroit Red Wings in the 4th round of the 1989 entry draft. He has appeared in 1123 NHL games during his career, notching 456 goals and adding 644 assists along with 757 penalty minutes. The 39 year old center has played 68 games with the Washington Capitals this season, totalling 13+24=37 with 62 PIM.
