) scored the 300th goal of his career in tonight's game against the Detroit Red Wings on a feed by Gary Roberts. You can't worry about the personal achievements - it's the W's that count, he said before boarding the teams chartered jet.
A native of Czech, Bobby Holik was originally drafted to the NHL by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 1st round of the 1989 entry draft. He has appeared in 1167 NHL games during his career, notching 300 goals and adding 391 assists along with 1265 penalty minutes. The 38 year old center has played 35 games with the Minnesota Wild this season, totalling 3+8=11 with 46 PIM.
