Alex Tanguay reaches a milestone !

) scored the 500th point of his career in tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on a feed by Doug Weight. It is just part of my job, he said after the game in the dressing room.
A native of Canada, Alex Tanguay was originally drafted to the NHL by the Colorado Avalanche in the 1st round of the 1998 entry draft. He has appeared in 584 NHL games during his career, notching 179 goals and adding 321 assists along with 309 penalty minutes. The 30 year old left wing has played 50 games with the New York Rangers this season, totalling 23+28=51 with 46 PIM.
