A native of Czech, Patrik Elias was originally drafted to the NHL by the New Jersey Devils in the 2nd round of the 1994 entry draft. He has appeared in 795 NHL games during his career, notching 310 goals and adding 400 assists along with 451 penalty minutes. The 34 year old left wing has played 35 games with the New Jersey Devils this season, totalling 12+20=32 with 30 PIM.
