Marian Gaborik reaches a milestone !
Marian Gaborik(
) scored the 500th point of his career in tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on a feed by Luca Sbisa. There's no 'I' in team and we have to get everyone playing the same system. It's not enough to just play a solid 20 or 40 minutes of hockey - you have to play 60. Hey, you know what? I forgot the question, were his words after the game.
A native of Slovakia, Marian Gaborik was originally drafted to the NHL by the Minnesota Wild in the 1st round of the 2000 entry draft. He has appeared in 565 NHL games during his career, notching 238 goals and adding 262 assists along with 406 penalty minutes. The 28 year old left wing has played 41 games with the Philadelphia Flyers this season, totalling 19+21=40 with 34 PIM.
