A native of Canada, Rod Brind'Amour was originally drafted to the NHL by the St. Louis Blues in the 1st round of the 1988 entry draft. He has appeared in 1237 NHL games during his career, notching 390 goals and adding 610 assists along with 968 penalty minutes. The 38 year old center has played 50 games with the Carolina Hurricanes this season, totalling 8+11=19 with 24 PIM.
