A native of Canada, Mike Sillinger was originally drafted to the NHL by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1st round of the 1989 entry draft. He has appeared in 979 NHL games during his career, notching 215 goals and adding 285 assists along with 658 penalty minutes. The 37 year old center has played 71 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, totalling 17+22=39 with 88 PIM.
