A native of Czech, Patrik Elias was originally drafted to the NHL by the New Jersey Devils in the 2nd round of the 1994 entry draft. He has appeared in 781 NHL games during his career, notching 307 goals and adding 393 assists along with 437 penalty minutes. The 34 year old left wing has played 21 games with the New Jersey Devils this season, totalling 9+13=22 with 16 PIM.
